A good fence does a lot of work. It keeps the yard defined, gives you real privacy from neighbors and the road, and just makes a property feel complete. That's exactly what this job was about.
We ran 350 feet of wood privacy fencing around this backyard. That's a solid perimeter - enough to fully enclose the space and actually create that sense of separation from the outside. The boards are tight, the lines are straight, and the whole thing sits level even where the ground changes grade slightly along the run.
Access was a priority on this one too. We installed an 8-foot gate and a 4-foot gate at two separate points in the fence line. The wider gate gives you easy clearance for equipment, lawn mowers, or anything else that needs to move in and out without a hassle. The 4-foot gate handles everyday foot traffic. Having both means you're not working around your fence - it's working for you.
Pressure-treated wood like this holds up well over time. It resists moisture and insects, which matters a lot when your fence is sitting against soil and exposed to weather season after season. The natural greenish tint you see in fresh treated lumber fades to a clean gray as it weathers out - and the structure stays strong.
Whether you're looking to add privacy, contain pets, or just put a clean boundary around your property, a well-built fence is one of those improvements that pays off every single day.
