Here's what we were working with - a muddy, unfinished front yard with no real defined path and zero fencing to speak of. The homeowner needed the whole package: a clean way to get from the driveway to the house, a polished front fence line, and solid perimeter security out back. That's exactly what we delivered.
We poured an Arizona flagstone stamped concrete walkway that runs right from the driveway up to the deck. The pattern does a lot of heavy lifting here. It gives you that natural stone look without the maintenance headaches that come with actual stone - no shifting, no weeding between joints, and it holds up through all kinds of weather. The gray tones tie in nicely with the brick exterior too.
Out front, we installed black aluminum fencing with multiple access gates. That detail matters more than people realize. One gate on a large yard gets old fast. We made sure there are convenient entry points so the space actually functions well day to day - not just looks good from the street. The aluminum is powder-coated, so it stays sharp without repainting every few years.
Along the back perimeter, we ran black chain link. It's the right call for that kind of open boundary - it secures the yard without blocking sightlines into the wooded area, and it's built to last. Two different fence types, one cohesive finished look throughout the property.
When you put it all together - the stamped walkway, the aluminum up front, and the chain link out back - you go from a property that felt unfinished to one that feels put-together from every angle. That's the goal on every job we do.
